We're two creative guys who have day jobs and have had a little success with publishing our stories. We want our ideas out there, but getting picked up by a publisher is unlikely, and the crowdfunding model is frustrating - usually requiring out-of-pocket expenses with the hope of at least breaking even.

 

Our AS-GOOD-AS-YOU-WANT-IT idea is that we'll start with the basic concept of a story and scale it to match the funding. Some will go nowhere, and we'll put in very little brainpower. And that's fine; we haven't wasted any time or money. But if enough people help fund an idea, it could grow into something big. We'll put in effort to match the investment.
